INVITATION<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Society for Hellenism and Philhellenism (SHP)<\/strong> has instituted since 2021 the International Lord Byron Philhellenism Award<\/strong> in the name of the great poet and Philhellene, Lord Byron.<\/p>\n

The Prize is now awarded to Alain Berset<\/strong>, Secretary General of the Council of Europe, President of the Swiss Confederation (2018 and 2023).<\/p>\n

The award ceremony will take place on Monday 9 February 2026 at 18.00 in the central premises of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Panepistimiou 30, Athens 10679 \/ Map<\/a>).<\/p>\n
