Description

This is the publication of George Finlay’s two-volume work, History of Greek Revolution translated by Alexandros Papadiamantis, which remained unpublished for a century. The purpose of this publication is twofold: to honor the English philhellene and historian, who left his homeland for the sake of the Struggle for Greek independence, but also the great intellectual of our country Alexandros Papadiamantis, who translated the work accurately and conscientiously, despite his objections to some of Finley’s positions.
