Description
Lord Byron (1788-1824) was one of the most famous romantic poets as well as the most emblematic Philhellenic. He gave his life for Greece, but having previously motivated all of Europe with his poetry to support the Greeks’ Struggle for Freedom. His death became a symbol of the decisive influence of Ideas in shaping History.
The Greek creator, Mr. Thanasis Dovas, designed and implemented, in collaboration with the SHP and the Philhellenism Museum, a collectible Press-papier of fine aesthetics, ideal for office decoration. The frame of the design is made of Pentelic marble, thus highlighting the Greekness of the object.
